Mayman Aerospace RAZOR (TM) VTOL Achieves Historic Milestone with Fully Autonomous Inaugural Flight

Mayman Aerospace today announced that its RAZOR (TM) P100 jet-powered VTOL aircraft completed a fully autonomous inaugural flight. The aircraft launched vertically from a 10ft x 10ft clear area, transitioned to forward flight, executed its mission profile and recovered to the same pad.

No runway, no catapult and no launch infrastructure were used. The full flight was executed under onboard autonomy, with the operator supervising rather than piloting.

The milestone validates the gimbaled turbine propulsion architecture and the flight control stack that underpins the RAZOR family. Testing continues toward extended envelope expansion at higher speeds and altitudes.
